On January 27, 2022, my client was granted an expungement of his Fair Lawn case. He was originally arrested for lewdness under N.J.S.A. 2C:14-4B(1). He was subsequently indicted with a fourth-degree offense by the Grand Jury.
Ultimately, he was found guilty of a disorderly persons offense. However, this meant that he had an arrest and conviction record resulting from this case. Therefore, it was necessary to file for an expungement to remove the arrest and the subsequent conviction from the client’s criminal history.
If you have an arrest or conviction record, it is important to speak to an attorney as soon as possible about your options. Call 201.343.4622 to schedule a consultation.
